This time, we’ll be introducing several events at Sapporo PARCO.
To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Sapporo PARCO is hosting the “A-Z Homage to Takenobu Igarashi” exhibition, a tribute to sculptor and designer Takenobu Igarashi. [Note 1] The exhibition runs from October 4th to November 10th, and admission is ¥500. Merchandise such as blind acrylic key chains will be available for purchase. [Note 2]
In addition, an official pop-up shop for the beloved anime “Crayon Shin-chan,” beloved not only in Japan but around the world, will be open from September 19th to November 24th. [Note 3] It will be located in a special venue on the 4th floor.

There will also be food and beverage events. The “Satsumaimo, Chestnut, and Pumpkin Festival” will be held from November 21st to November 24th. [Note 4] It will feature restaurants selected by “poroco,” Sapporo’s food and lifestyle magazine. This is an event recommended for those who love sweets.
There are also coffee-related events, and the hugely popular “COFFEE CITY FESTIVAL” brings together coffee shops and roasters from all over Hokkaido and even “guest cities” across the country, centered around Sapporo, under the philosophy that “city culture is created by coffee shops” [Note 5]. It runs from November 28th to December 1st. It’s sure to be a fun event for coffee lovers.
