Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo (Kita 5 Nishi 7, Chuo-ku, Sapporo) will renovate the 21st floor, the top guest room floor, on May 31st.

The name will change from the current “Luxury Floor” to the “Plaza Floor”. The concept of the new floor is “a harmonious blend of comfort and tradition, with Hokkaido wood used for the living room table, entrance door, flooring, etc. Environmentally friendly materials will also be used, such as plastering materials made from powdered scallop shells that would otherwise be discarded, and wallpaper made from thinned wood.

There will be 12 rooms and 6 types of rooms. The rooms include the “Plaza Imperial Suite” (134.1 square meters), “Plaza Corner King Suite Style” (62.8 square meters), “Plaza King View Bath Suite Style” (54.9 square meters), and “Plaza Twin Suite Style” (53.9 square meters).
Guests staying on the floor will be provided with a meeting room and a club lounge. The club lounge will be relocated from the first floor to the 22nd floor in April and will provide food and drinks.
