A new hotel is opening in Otaru!

Granbell Hotel will open the “Otaru Granbell Hotel” (1-1 Sakaimachi, Otaru, Hokkaido) on July 18th. Reservations are already being accepted, and a special 10% discount rate is being offered for a limited time.
The hotel is located at the southern end of the Otaru Canal, offering a panoramic view of the canal. The six-story building has an exterior design made of stacked Otaru soft stone, with the top floor designed to resemble a building built on a stratum of earth.
The hotel plans to offer 159 rooms in seven types, including twins, doubles, and corner suites, and the guest rooms will have long windows to allow for a wide view of the scenery.
In addition to a restaurant on the first floor, there will be an octagonal, lighthouse-style rooftop bar on the sixth floor. There will also be an open-air observation bath with an auto-louver sauna overlooking Ishikari Bay.
